Smallworld after 1995

| .A long term project has been to rewrite Smallworld, moving the version that ran on Silicon Graphics to a more recent technology. In the meantime it has spawned a number of spin-off pieces, including Tinyworld and Beesworld. | |||||||
| Creativity & Cognition | In 1996 examples of work produced using Smallworld were included in the group exhibition of the Creativity & Cognition symposium at Loughborough University. A piece of Bell's work was also used in symposium publicity. | ||||||
| Tinyworld | A spin-off of Smallworld wasTinyworld, a stand-alone interactive artwork commissioned by Loughborough University as a showpiece installed at Snibston Discovery Park. Unfortunately the discovery park has been closed. | ||||||

Kube Residency | During a residency at Kube Gallery in Poole during autumn 2009 Bell worked on a version of Smallworld that he had transferred to a MacBook Pro that summer. During the residency he kept a blog which reflects on the work and the value of residencies. | |||||
