Folding Sculpture MkII

The following images are taken from the notebook I prepared for my final show at The Slade. I used the newly arrived colour photocopying technique to reproduce some of the photos for the book.

The pictures record a process that I developed whilst at Bristol that I called 'arting' - taking folding sculptures into public places and arranging them either according to pre-planned patterns or in a spontaneous response to the environment. This expedition was to Cadbury hill fort in Somerset and I was assisted by Neil Bell, my brother. My approach to documentation was based on NASA publications that I found in the UCL library.
